Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our manufacturing facility in Alsip, IL for the night shift. The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of systems and equipment, including vision systems, conveyor systems, and PLC programming.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on production equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair PLC systems
• Conduct electrical troubleshooting on machinery
• Utilize hydraulics experience to maintain equipment
• Program PLC systems as needed
• Conduct machine safety inspections

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Four (4) years experience mechanical in a high-speed manufacturing environment
• Good working knowledge and experience with preventative maintenance programs
• Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety and Lockout Procedures
• Working knowledge of computerized maintenance management software’s an asset
• Experience with vision systems and conveyor systems
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to troubleshoot PLC systems
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting
• Knowledge of hydraulics systems
• PLC programming experience
