The Maintenance Mechanic II is responsible for performing maintenance support while continuously seeking opportunities to improve processes and procedures for Pall Aerospace facilities, machines, and equipment.
This position reports to the operations manager, is part of the Pall Aerospace Facilities department, and will be located onsite in** New Port Richey, FL.The work schedule is typically Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, but flexible scheduling occurs due to business needs,**and overtime is routing.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Install, diagnose, repair, wire, and maintain various electrical and electronic equipment and controls related to production and building equipment, including motors, pumps, relays, circuit breakers, electronic machine controls, computers, printers, and more.
Work from wiring diagrams, schematics, and manuals to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing and facilities equipment.
Maintains preventive maintenance schedules and records as needed, including completing all necessary paperwork as required, including scorecards, hazard recognitions, routers, and data.
The essential requirements of the job include:
High School diploma or equivalent (i.e., GED) and a minimum of 3+ years of related manufacturing machine maintenance experience.
Experienced in troubleshooting and repairing electronic CNC machine controls
Skilled in using computers for things such as emailing, searching for machine parts, and finding maintenance solutions online.
Physical/Environment Requirements:
Ability to stand for periods of 8 hours with breaks is required
Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 35 lbs
Abilty to work with solvents, oils, and other chemicals and machinery of various heights/platforms.
Other Requirements:
This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment visa and export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the applicable U.S. government agency.
