Job Title:
Maintenance Mechanic II
Classification: Non-exempt full time
Reporting to: Maintenance Manager
A. PURPOSE
Under general supervision and following the appropriate GMP’s the employee performs various Maintenance
Mechanic assignments using supervisor or other higher-level technician as guidance to perform daily assigned
tasks.
B. DUTIES

position will be required to perform any other job-related duties as requested by management.
1.) Intermediate electrical knowledge (120/220/480)
2.) Ability to troubleshoot (Mechanical Conveyors and/or Ovens)
3.) Experienced with motor controls.
4.) Proficient in standard and metric tools.
5.) Intermediate ability to identify and repair conveyors and ovens.
6.) Ability to troubleshoot PLC.
7.) Understands and adheres to established safety programs.
8.) Communicates effectively at all levels in the maintenance and operating departments.
9.) Provides rapid response when equipment malfunctions or breaks down.
10.) Proper and safe use of hand and power tools and working on machinery.
C. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
1. High School/ G.E.D
2. Minimum 1 year to 4 years’ experience on the field (Food Industry is a plus)
3. Industrial Mechanical Technician Certification is a plus (Not required)
4. Industrial Electrical Technician Certification is a plus (Not required)
