Job Overview:

Thatcher Chemical is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician for our Buckeye, Arizona facility. This role involves the general maintenance and repair of our facility and equipment, including pumps, hoses, tanks, plumbing, and electrical systems. The Maintenance Technician will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes by performing routine maintenance tasks and assisting in facility upgrades.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor chemical production equipment, including reactors, mixers, and packaging machines
• Perform general maintenance and repair tasks on facility and equipment.
• Utilize hand and power tools for various maintenance and repair projects.
• Assist the engineering team with facility upgrades and installation of new equipment and processes.
• Diagnose issues and implement effective solutions to maintain operational efficiency.
• Adhere to warehouse safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols.
• Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.
• Basic knowledge of facility maintenance.
• Ability to lift or push 50 lbs.
• Ability to work on ladders and scaffolding.
• Nevada Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Forklift experience (training provided onsite if needed).
• Knowledge of EPA regulations.
• Familiarity with Thatcher product knowledge.
• Experience with the use and repair of pneumatic and electric pumps and hoses.
• Welding and fabrication skills.
• Basic computer skills for work orders and emails.
• Basic truck repair skills.
