Job Description

Ultradent, the global name in oral health, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to work on the Day Shift in our Building 2 Manufacturing Department:

Hours: Monday thru Thursday 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Shift Hours can be adjusted depending on Production requirements.

Job Duties:

• Work as a team member in production by ensuring equipment maintains quality standards and expected throughput.
• Perform required preventive maintenance to all equipment and keep necessary records.
• Troubleshoots equipment problems.
• Ensures compliance with safety standards.
• Set up and adjust equipment to produce quality products according to specified standards.
• Complete and maintain proper equipment records.
• Willingness to stay till work is complete. Unplanned overtime can be required without notice.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Skills Required:

• Must communicate effectively.
• Methodical and analytical approach to problem solving.
• Electrical and mechanical experience.
• Attention to detail.
• Basic math skills.
• Experience in implementing continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, TPM, TOC, SMED, etc.) is preferred.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment is preferred.

Experience/Schooling/Degree Required:

• MUST have prior experience with production equipment. Experience 3 Yrs. Minimum
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Any technical certifications is preferred.
