Job Overview:

Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for identifying, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and electrical issues to ensure safe and efficient plant operations. This role requires accurate documentation of work performed, preventive maintenance activities, and compliance with all company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and adaptable to working across different areas of the plant.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·  Support and promote Allen Harim’s vision, mission, and values.

·  Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions in equipment.

·  Identify and report potential mechanical and electrical issues before they cause downtime.

·  Inspect equipment to ensure proper operation and safety standards.

·  Accurately document work performed, corrective actions taken, and parts replaced.

·  Respond quickly to breakdowns and emergency situations to minimize production delays.

·  Lubricate and service equipment as required.

·  Perform preventive maintenance according to the established schedule.

·  Complete required paperwork and maintenance reports in a timely manner.

·  Participate in cross-training and rotate through different areas of the plant as needed.

·  Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.

·  Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the maintenance field.
  • Familiarity with food safety hazards and feed manufacturing equipment operation.

 

Knowledge/Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and basic computer skills.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes.
