Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our Yuba City team. You’ll perform hands-on maintenance and repair across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems—ensuring operational integrity and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, HVAC systems, pumps, conveyors, and building infrastructure.

• Diagnose mechanical issues using specialized tools; recommend and perform repairs or part replacements.

• Collaborate with maintenance leads to schedule downtime and coordinate repairs.

• Keep accurate logs of maintenance activities, labor, parts, and equipment status.

• Support emergency repairs and maintenance as required.

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and regulatory standards.

• Mentor junior technicians and assist with training.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or vocational certification preferred.

• 2+ years of mechanical or maintenance experience (industrial, commercial, or municipal).

• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

• Basic electrical, plumbing, and welding skills are a plus.

• Valid CA driver’s license; Class A or relevant certifications may be beneficial.

Preferred:

• Experience in industrial or water/wastewater treatment environments.

• Familiarity with scheduled maintenance systems (CMMS).

• OSHA 10/30 certification or equivalent.
