We are hiring a Maintenance Mechanic to join our Maintenance team!

DISCOVER
Are you skilled in maintaining Industrial/Manufacturing machines and equipment? As Maintenance Mechanic we'll rely on you to perform inspections, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and servicing of shop and production equipment, components, and machinery, to help keep us up and running, well-positioned to produce our industry-leading Hot Spring® Spas, Caldera® Spas, Endless Pools®, Freeflow Spas®, and Fantasy Spas® products. You will also help identify root causes of various issues, repair equipment to the highest Quality standard, and proactively perform preventative maintenance to all production and building equipment, such as mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, basic electrical systems, motors and motor controls, and CNC/PLC control systems.

  • Can you work according to established safety and other requirements? In this role you must always prioritize safety and follow our various safety rules and regulations. We will expect you to work in accordance with our Safety and Maintenance programs, included but not limited to LOTO, Arc Flash Prevention, Fall Prevention, and Total Productive Maintenance. You will also be expected to follow established policies related to preventative maintenance paperwork and part usage.

  • Can you provide excellent customer service? You will serve a critical function at Watkins Wellness by keeping our production equipment and building systems operating as needed, performing scheduled preventative maintenance and unscheduled servicing and repairs as required.

  • Do you prioritize Quality? You may be asked to plan and coordinate equipment improvements and upgrades that will improve safety, productivity, and Quality, and reduce operating costs.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), at least 7 years maintenance mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

  • Experience using MS Office suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Must be able to use a Computerized Maintenance Management System. Must be able to prepare and review work orders, material requisitions, reports, and other documentation.

  • Must understand and be able to explain basic electrical theory, including OHMS law, and be able to demonstrate understanding of simple circuits, both AC and DC, up to 480 Volts. Must also have the ability to test and troubleshoot a motor and motor controls.

  • Must understand and be able to explain basic fluid power principles (hydraulics and pneumatics) such as the difference between flow and pressure and how to calculate force of a cylinder.

  • Must understand and be able to explain basic mechanical principles, such as how to change the speed of a rotating assembly and how to calculate the force needed to move an object.

  • Must have fabrication skills, including the ability to perform repair welding and drilling, bolting, and torquing for various fasteners. Lead and participate in the design and fabrication of metal structures (brackets, supports, etc.).

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization, including the ability to present information to a group of co-workers, supervisors, managers, or higher-level executives.

  • Ability to work well independently with minimal supervision, as well as within a strong team environment.

Hiring Range: $25.55 - $40.04
