Maintenance Mechanic

Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Maintenance Mechanicfor our food manufacturingclient to start immediatelyat up to $42/hr DOE! Receive comprehensive benefits through our clientupon hire!

Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Mechanic in food manufacturing, you’ll install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment in compliance with all safety protocols and machine safety standards. We’re looking for hands-on, physically capable individuals with solid experience in mechanical systems.

• Perform repairs and maintenance on all equipment, from basic to complex, to uphold company quality standards
• Diagnose and analyze equipment failures and malfunctions using technical manuals and documentation
• Create sketches and drawings of parts requiring repair or replacement using appropriate technical tools
• Identify and evaluate new spare parts, technologies, and mechanisms to improve equipment performance
• Estimate costs for spare parts and repair services based on technical requirements

Location: University Park, IL

**Schedule/Shift Details: **Openings on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts!

• First shift starts between 6AM-9AM
• Second shift starts between 3PM-5PM
• Third shift starts between 11PM-1AM - Overtime as needed

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience as a maintenance mechanic required
• Experience in food manufacturing preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities
• Ability to read and write in English
• Demonstrated proficiency in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
• Working knowledge of safety standards and regulations
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics
• Basic familiarity with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems required
