**Starting Pay: $25.30 - $32.00 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential. Based on experience. **
Shift: Evening (2nd) 2:00pm – 10:00pm or Night (3rd) 10:00pm - 6:00am Sunday - Thursday (Shift will be determined during the interview)
As a **Maintenance Mechanic **you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!
Primary Responsibilities
- Repair & Maintenance Electrical work focuses on repairing, constructing, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical systems and
equipment including: Installing, calibrating, and testing electrical building infrastructure, control systems, and equipment.
- Cutting, threading, bending, coupling, and strapping electrical conduit wiring. Troubleshooting electrical malfunctions and inspecting circuits/wiring for shielding and grounding.
- Testing electrical equipment for safety and efficiency.
Understanding of basics of hydraulic theory and its applications; understanding of applicable utility systems and understanding of plant
instrumentation/control systems such as level detection, temperature measurement, mass and magnetic flow meters, etc.
- The candidate must possess basic math skills in areas of addition/subtraction, multiplication/division.
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance on, troubleshoot and repair industrial pumps, belts, piping, filters, mixers, conveyors, valves,
bearings, and mechanical seals.
- Ability to troubleshoot and proof testing of equipment as necessary to solve problems and pro-actively prevent them.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and/or related skilled trades.
- Basic Computer skills. PLC skills preferred. (Experience with Allen Bradley Panel view systems and
- Experience working a CMMS preferred; Micro-Main a plus.
- Understanding of basics of hydraulic theory and its applications; understanding of applicable utility systems; and understanding of plant instrumentation/control systems such as level detection, temperature measurement, mass and magnetic flow meters, etc. Allen Bradley PLC networking equipment desired).
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
