An international plant-based food manufacturing company is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic. At least 2 years of experience as a mechanic (food manufacturing preferred but not required)
$25 - 28/hr. Plus full benefits
Monday, Wednesday – Saturday 07:00 a.m. – 04:00 p.m. (Tuesday and Sunday off)
During probation Monday – Friday 08:00 a.m. – 05:00 p.m. (if possible)
Requirements of the Maintenance Mechanic:
High school diploma required; technical school preferred
At least 2 years of manufacturing mechanic experience
Skills in plumbing, wiring, welding, and drilling
Able to lift up to 50 lbs
Strong problem‑solving and multitasking
Good communication, logic, and attention to detail
Able to read electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics
Experience replacing motors, belts, bearings, pulleys, sprockets, chains, cylinders, etc.
Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Mechanic:
Follow safety rules; keep work area clean
Perform preventive maintenance; troubleshoot machinery
Read and complete work orders
Improve equipment efficiency
Supervise, train, and support staff
Work well with team members and other departments
Manage parts, inventory, vendors, and contractors
Maintain and repair facility equipment and systems
Document maintenance work and track equipment data
Develop maintenance plans and meet targets
Wear required PPE
Participate in committees
