Are you a detail‑oriented aviation maintenance professional with a passion for safety and operational excellence? Join Masco Corporation’s Corporate Aviation team at our DTW campus in Romulus, Michigan. We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic – Flight Operations to support the reliability, safety, and readiness of our aircraft, hangar facilities, and ground support equipment.
This is a hands‑on, highly collaborative role within a professional flight operations environment that values precision, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on hangar infrastructure and ground support equipment (GSE).
Support aircraft readiness by assisting with inspections, fueling, and coordination with flight crews and vendors.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to ensure flawless operation.
Maintain accurate maintenance records in compliance with FAA and Masco protocols.
Assist with snow removal, HVAC systems, lighting, and general facility upkeep.
Respond to emergency maintenance requests and support after-hours operations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; A&P Certification required.
Minimum 3 years of experience in facility and aviation maintenance.
Familiarity with FAA regulations and aviation safety protocols.
Proven ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Strong problem-solving skills and outstanding attention to detail.
Valid driver’s license; CDL or airport operations clearance is a plus.
Work Environment:
Full-time, onsite at the DTW campus.
May require occasional weekend or evening work.
Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing ladders, and working in varied weather conditions.
