Maintenance Mechanic

• $30.00 - $38.00 per hour (DOE)
• 2nd Shift
• Heavy Industrial Manufacturing

We're recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join an established heavy industrial manufacturer in Rochelle, IL.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults
• Build, repair and maintain industrial gearboxes
• Minimise equipment downtime through effective troubleshooting
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Operate manual machine shop equipment including lathes, mills, drill presses and grinders
• Support parts identification and ordering when required
• Maintain maintenance records and support continuous improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years' maintenance experience within manufacturing
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics and industrial machinery
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Must provide your own tools
