ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Ability to safely move in and through work areas, including climbing stairs, maintaining good balance, being mentally alert,
having good visual acuity, and safely working at heights.
• Ability to safely work in and around heavy industrial environment, including moving objects, fluids, concentrated chemicals,
and transport vehicles.
• Meet fitness for duty criteria under Company Medical Management Program.
• Inspect mechanical equipment and structure for wear, damage and safety issues.
• Troubleshoot operation of mechanical equipment and structure.
• Perform documented preventive maintenance rounds and complete detailed log sheets of emergency and non-
emergency work performed during the shift. emergency work performed during the shift.
• Adjust equipment or structure as required.
• Ability to work swing shifts.
• Remove, repair or replace inoperative or unsafe equipment or structure in all production areas.
• Fabricate and install new structure and equipment.
• Proficient in all position welding and use of oxygen and acetylene torch.
• Complete checklists and work order paperwork.
• Use precision measuring devices to set bearings, measure shaft/sprocket sizes and align couplings.
• Communicate both verbally and in writing with coworkers and supervisors.
• Perform housekeeping as necessary.
• Other job related duties as assigned.
