Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical troubleshooting skills along with experience in welding and conveyor system maintenance. This is a hands-on position responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and conveyor systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment, conveyors, motors, bearings, gearboxes, and related machinery.
• Perform MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding for equipment repairs and fabrication.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and complete repairs in a timely manner.
• Install, align, and maintain conveyor systems and associated components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures while maintaining a clean work area.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Welding experience (MIG, TIG, and/or Stick).
• Experience maintaining and repairing conveyor systems.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
