Maintenance Mechanic – Good Sense Foods (New Hope, MN)

1st and 2nd shift opportunity available

What You’ll Do

Keep our fast‑paced production environment running smoothly by performing:

• Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production, packaging, and facility equipment
• Preventive maintenance and accurate CMMS documentation
• Equipment changeovers, setup support, and fabrication projects
• Intermediate electrical troubleshooting (VFDs, sensors, pneumatics)
• Emergency repairs and responding quickly to production needs
• Training/mentoring team members in mechanical and basic electrical skills
• Supporting a clean, safe, food‑safe environment with authority to stop lines for safety issues

What You Bring

• 3+ years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience (food or packaging preferred)
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics & mechanical prints
• Strong mechanical and intermediate electrical skills
• Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, fabrication, welding, hand tools, and shop equipment
• Solid work ethic, safety mindset, teamwork, and self‑motivation
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training/OEM experience a plus
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in a manufacturing setting

Hours:

• 1st shift - 7:00 am - 3:00 pm Monday - Friday
• 2nd shift - 3:15 pm - 11:30 pm Monday - Friday
• This position may include overtime hours and the ability to work flexible shifts.

Pay Range:

The expected range for this position is $32.00 - $39.00 per hour. This range reflects various factors such as education, skills, work experience, certifications, and more. Therefore, the final compensation for the selected candidate may fall anywhere within this range.
