Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Marlborough, MA. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facility's machinery and equipment. If you have a knack for troubleshooting and a passion for keeping things running efficiently, we want to hear from you! Steam Licence training provided.

SHIFTS: Multiple Shifts Available

4 days - 10-hour shifts/week

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist in the installation of new equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
• Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic or similar role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency calls as needed.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or minimum of 3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

For Massachusetts only; Role requires Special to Operate Engineering License (Steam Plant) -- License training will be provided if not already in possession.
