The Level#4- Maintenance Technician role is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing facility and production equipment to support the facility's manufacturing schedule.
- Follows all documented safety, quality, and maintenance procedures.
- Responds promptly to safety hazards and machine breakdowns.
- Understands and interprets blueprints required for work.
- Performs routine mechanical repair on equipment.
- Completes documentation related to the task at hand.
- Maintains excellent housekeeping standards to maintain a safe work area.
- Maintains effective communication with operators and plant supervision.
- Immediately addresses and reports safety issues or hazards.
- Maintains excellent safety record.
- Maintains an excellent attendance record.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience required:
- Demonstrated industrial maintenance experience.
- At least two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including successful completion of jobs or similar activities.
- Demonstrated self-compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS); Maintenance Connection experience preferred.

Physical requirements:
This position is located in a manufacturing location. Physical requirements will include but are not limited to:
- Standing for lengthy periods of time (frequent)
- Sitting for extended periods of time (frequent)
- Climbing up/down stairs/ladders/platforms (occasional)
- Working in a manufacturing environment that includes periods of hot and cold weather, dust, noise above 85 dBA, occasional odors, and moving equipment (frequent)
Working conditions
An individual that works in the Level#4- Maintenance Technician position:
- Must have a basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Must have personal tools up to one (1) inch.
- Must be able to stand and/kneel frequently, lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, and work in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be available on an on-call basis.
Education
High School Diploma or GED
Technical certification in a related field preferred
