Position Summary:
The maintenance mechanic is responsible for performing preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance on assets on the property. They report to the Maintenance Supervisor and must be able to prioritize work assignments and use correct lock out/tag out procedures. This person must be conscious of safety hazards at all times and take the necessary measures to protect themselves and others.
Scope/Supervision & Interaction: Does not have direct reports.
Position Responsibilities:
Prioritize Maintenance work orders throughout shift
Optimize up-time by performing scheduled preventative, predictive maintenance
Takes quick action to prevent excessive machine downtime
Adhere to maintenance related procedures
Adhere to safety procedures
Participates in Kaizan trainings and 5S events as needed
Takes responsibility for keeping work area clean
**Essential Skills & Experience:**
Must possess a journeyman card, certificate, or degree from accredited college in any of the following trades, HVAC, Electrical, or Industrial maintenance. In lieu of journeyman card, degree, or certificate individual must possess ten years of maintenance experience in manufacturing environment.

Basic knowledge of Welding
Knowledge of lock out/tag out procedures
Basic knowledge of Allen Bradley and Direct Logic Software.
Fabricate hydraulic hoses using compatible fittings
Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or leads
Communication skills

Basic knowledge of MS word and Excel
Able to work in a team environment
Shows initiative in attendance and punctuality
