Monday - Friday; 6am-3pm (or until finished, could be longer most days)
Some Saturdays and possibly on call hours are required
-Responsible for performing general maintenance assignments, utilizing well developed mechanical skills under minimal supervision.
Repairs, maintains, and adjusts various types of machines, equipment, production line equipment and physical structure under minimal supervision.
Successfully completes job assignments with developed skills in the following areas: welding, cutting, brazing, pipefitting, hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrications, installations, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, industrial refrigeration, boilers, masonry, and electronics.
Ability to troubleshoot and correct any mechanical problems on all plant equipment.
Performs preventative maintenance in accordance with established schedule.
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and operating manuals in order to effectively perform work assignments.
Must possess a basic understanding or how to wire and troubleshoot 110-220V (single phase) and 3 phase wiring.
Position requires the lifting and handling of heavy objects.
Must furnish basic hand tools.
