Maintenance Mechanic

$35.00 - $45.00 per hour

1st Shift | 6am - 4:30pm | Mon - Thur

Food Production Company

We are working with an established food production company based in Frederick, MD. They are recruiting for a **Maintenance Technician **to join their team during their 1st or 3rd shifts in return for a salary in the region of **$35 - $45 /hour **along with excellent employment benefits which include 401K, Healthcare, Vision and Dental, PTO and Life Assurance.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Performing scheduled maintenance on equipment (based on hours, cycles, or time)
• Inspecting machinery for wear, damage, or potential failure
• Lubricating moving parts, replacing filters, belts, bearings, etc.
• Checking electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Calibrating equipment to ensure proper operation
• Conducting In-Depth Machine Inspections

Qualifications & Experience required:

• At least 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment preferably within food production or processing
• Lubricating moving parts, replacing filters, belts, bearings,
• Maintenance expertise in hydraulics, mechanics, and electrical functions of the equipment
• Familiarity with machine configuration, rebuilding, stripping, and preventative maintenance
