Job Overview:
One of our manufacturing clients is looking for for a skilled **Maintenance Mechanic **to support the maintenance and repair of production equipment at their Edinburgh, IN facility.
**Pay Rate: **$40/hr - $43/hr
**Shift: **3rd shift
Responsibilities:
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems
Maintain and repair conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors, bearings, compressors, and other industrial equipment
Conduct routine inspections to identify equipment issues and recommend corrective actions
Assist with machinery installations, equipment modifications, and production line improvements
Read and interpret blueprints, equipment manuals, and technical drawings to perform maintenance tasks
Perform machine alignments, component replacements, lubrication, and mechanical adjustments
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED; technical or vocational training in Industrial Maintenance or a related field preferred
3+ years of maintenance mechanic experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, power transmission, and industrial machinery
Experience troubleshooting and repairing production equipment with minimal supervision
Basic electrical troubleshooting skills and the ability to use common diagnostic tools
Welding and fabrication experience
Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation systems
