Job Description

We are looking for a **Maintenance Mechanic **for one of our manufacturing clients located near Edgewater, IL.

**Shift **- 2nd and 3rd Shift

**Pay **-$25

• $30/hr

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Install, adjust, and maintain fabrication equipment and production lines.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings for proper equipment and tooling setup.

• Operate assigned production lines and perform required quality checks and hourly counts.

• Perform basic tooling adjustments and resolve minor machine issues.

• Maintain tools and equipment in clean, safe, and working condition.

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and record findings in the maintenance system.

• Troubleshoot equipment and quality issues and make necessary adjustments.

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.

• Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions immediately.

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or leads.

Education & Qualifications:

• High school or vocational education, including relevant technical training.

• Manufacturing experience with machine operation and basic maintenance.

• Experience with production machinery, PLCs, and measurement tools preferred.

• Ability to read engineering drawings and work within tight tolerances preferred.
