Job Description

One of our manufacturing clients is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Mechanic to support plant operations at their facility in Dundee, MI location.

**Pay Rate: **$42/hr - $44/hr

**Shift: **Continental

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems

• Diagnose equipment failures and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime

• Inspect machinery and identify potential maintenance concerns

• Repair and replace motors, bearings, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and other machine components

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals

• Perform equipment setup, alignment, and installation as needed

• Complete maintenance work orders and maintain accurate documentation

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• 3+ years of Maintenance Mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment

• Journeyman-level hydraulic certification/training preferred

• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatics, conveyors, motors, systems maintenance and troubleshooting in an industrial environment

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and maintenance manuals

• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience preferred

• Welding and fabrication experience

• Experience with PLC-controlled equipment
