We are hiring a Maintenance Mechanic/Repair person to join our team! In our iron casting related operations, this position will diagnose/troubleshoot/repair mechanical problems on a production equipment and facility support services. Candidate will also be expected to perform preventive/predictive maintenance and conform to all OSHA standards.


 Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Diagnose and repair various equipment.
  • Fabricate equipment & Rebuild tools.
  • Maintain and repair conveyors, cylinders, belts, pulleys, bearings, and gearbox.
  • Work with production to correct quality problems as well as continuous improvement projects.
  • Required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties upon request of the supervisor.
  • Complies with the following OSHA Safety Standards: Hazard Communication; Bloodborne Pathogens; Lockout; Permit Required Confined Space; Hot Work Permit; Powered Industrial Trucks; P.P.E. and Ergonomics.
  • When necessary, participate in classes and training seminars to learn new technologies and techniques deemed helpful to performance on the job.


Requirements

  • Mechanical, hydraulics, & pneumatics experience required. Electrical experience preferred.
  • HS diploma or equivalent.
  • Employees are expected to work and attend in person meetings as necessary.
