Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production machinery and facility systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
- Diagnose issues with sensors, switches, wiring, and control systems (up to 480V)
- Conduct major equipment repairs, including overhauls and rebuilds
- Maintain and service equipment such as molding machines, conveyors, gearboxes, compressors, and stamping equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations (LOTO, OSHA) and company safety standards
- Independently identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective solutions
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1+ year of maintenance or industrial experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems (single-phase & three-phase, up to 480V)
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems (including air compressors)
- Ability to troubleshoot using diagnostic tools and technical methods
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet physical job requirements
Preferred / Additional Skills
- Experience with PLCs or computer-controlled equipment
- Knowledge of HAZMAT procedures and safety systems
- Certifications such as HAZWOPER or Confined Space (or willingness to obtain)
