Hood Container is searching for a dynamic and results-driven Maintenance Manager to join our team in Sumter, SC, and lead our Corrugator Converting Plant's maintenance operations.
The Maintenance Manager plays a critical role in optimizing performance, driving efficiency, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You’ll provide strategic leadership to our maintenance programs, ensuring our equipment operates at peak performance, minimizing downtime by implement lean manufacturing principles & maintenance best practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of dedicated maintenance management experiencewithin a manufacturing environment. This includes hands-on experience with:
- Budget management
- Efficient scheduling & work order management
- Strategic project planning
- Effective team development
- Demonstrated expertise in both industrial mechanical and electrical systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in the corrugated or packaging industry.
- Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.

- Collaborative Impact: Partner closely with other departments to strategically schedule maintenance activities, minimizing any disruption to our vital production operations.
