We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team in Warren, MI. In this role, you will oversee the maintenance operations of our facility, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning optimally.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise the maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work.
  • Supervise hourly labor during shift - machine operators & laborers
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to maximize equipment uptime.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and address maintenance needs.
  • Coordinate with other departments to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management.
  • Oversee the procurement of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team.
  • Train and mentor staff on maintenance best practices and safety protocols.
  • Assist in budget preparation and management for maintenance operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred (not required)
  • Proven experience in maintenance management, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance processes, equipment, and safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certifications in maintenance management or related fields are a plus.
