Manufacturing Maintenance Leadership | CNC Equipment Expertise | Preventative / Predictive Focus
We are seeking a highly capable Maintenance & Facilities Manager to lead and coordinate all activities within the Maintenance & Facilities Department. This role is critical to plant success and requires a leader who combines strong technical expertise—especially in CNC machine repair and uptime performance—with the professionalism and leadership ability to drive accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate is hands-on when needed, proactive in planning, and focused on building a maintenance department known for discipline, response time, and reliability.
Ensure all repair and maintenance work is completed safely at all times
Enforce formal Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures without exception
Promote a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with internal standards and regulations
Own total plant machine uptime (proactive and reactive)
Lead troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing equipment with emphasis on:
CNC machining centers
tooling / hydraulic / pneumatic systems
automation and production support equipment
Plan and execute major repair activities including downtime planning, parts coordination, and labor allocation
Drive urgency and accountability for machine restoration and root cause correction
Develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance programs
Lead PM:
planning
scheduling

audit compliance
Improve maintenance performance through structured reliability practices and data-based decision making
Coordinate outside contractors as needed for facilities and specialty repairs
Ensure contractor safety compliance and quality performance
Support vendor selection, cost control, and documentation of work performed
Control spare parts usage and support disciplined inventory management
Develop critical spare part lists for each piece of equipment
Improve parts availability without overstocking through smart planning and standardization
Lead, manage, and hold accountable the Maintenance & Facilities team

Support the growth and development of Assistant Maintenance leadership through structured coaching and exposure to fundamental manager responsibilities
Manage department organization and 5S standards
Define and manage key measurable performance indicators such as:
uptime / downtime
MTTR / MTBF (where applicable)
PM completion rate
response time
repeat failures
Allocate department resources effectively to meet production demand
Monitor and control maintenance overtime while maintaining plant performance
Report maintenance trends and performance updates to leadership
5+ years in industrial maintenance with demonstrated leadership responsibility (Supervisor / Manager / Lead)
Strong technical background in CNC machine repair and troubleshooting
Strong working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems including:
hydraulics
pneumatics
drives / motors
controls troubleshooting
Experience building or improving PM programs (planning, scheduling, execution)
Strong knowledge of LOTO and safety compliance expectations
Strong communication skills and ability to drive accountability across shifts
Professional mindset: calm under pressure, solutions-driven, and team-focused
Experience in high-volume manufacturing or automotive manufacturing environments
Familiarity with predictive tools/strategies (vibration, thermal, oil analysis, etc.)
CMMS experience (MP2, Fiix, UpKeep, or similar)
Lean / Continuous Improvement exposure (5S, kaizen, standard work)
Strong leadership presence without ego
Organized and disciplined with planning and follow-through
Able to coach, develop, and hold standards consistently
Focused on preventing breakdowns—not just reacting to them
