In the United States, Hino Motors Manufacturing U.S.A. currently has employees in 4 states including Michigan, Arkansas, West Virginia and California. The Corporate Office resides in Novi, Michigan. Hino assembles medium-duty trucks at its Mineral Wells, West Virginia plant. Its manufacturing facilities in Marion, Arkansas produces axles, knuckles and suspension components for Toyota’s Tacoma, Tundra and Sequoia. Hino’s Parts Distribution Center in Mira Loma, California supplies Latin American and Caribbean distributors with genuine Hino service parts.

We are currently seeking an an Equipment Maintenance Manager reporting directly to the VP, Operations. This individual will be responsible to lead the Maintenance Team at our plant in Arkansas and coordinate operations within the maintenance department.


  • Schedule equipment maintenance workloads, preventative, and predictive maintenance.
  • Provide Cross-functional support to all departments.
  • Interface with Manufacturing, engineering and facility teams, modifications, and design.
  • Train and prepare work schedule for Maintenance Technicians and TMs
  • Interface with all departments regarding facility schedules and problems.
  • Troubleshoot complex facility issues for problems.
  • Purchase and maintain stock of all repair parts, lubricants, coolants, etc.
  • Pay great attention to detail and solve problems quickly.
  • Adjust to the changing needs of a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Problem solving and continuously improving safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment in accordance with standardized procedures.
  • Repair Logistic Equipment and schedule preventive maintenance of equipment.

Experience & Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Associates Degree
  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
  • 7-10 years of hands-on experience with Maintenance functions is preferred
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (heavily focused on Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical/control systems and the ability to apply these concepts within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in Assembly, Machining Welding, Stamping processes Knowledge of PLC, servo motors, motion control and drives.
  • Experience in Fanuc robot setup and programming.
  • Demonstrated understanding of mechanical concepts involving machine designs, process requirements involved in the manufacturing process.
  • Position may require sitting for prolonged periods of time, moving equipment up to 10 pounds.
