Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all maintenance activities, including preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures and policies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, promoting a culture of safety within the team.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify issues and recommend solutions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance work with minimal disruption to operations.
  • Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to improve maintenance practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance management systems and practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in maintenance.
  • Proficient in using maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certifications in maintenance management or related fields are a plus.
