Job Overview:

Report to the Plant Manager at our Kent manufacturing facility, you will lead the plant maintenance department. Responsible for repair, installation of machines, tools, and equipment in manufacturing operations. You will schedule maintenance, and installation to ensure production operations. You will manage the maintenance and storeroom budgets, inspect operating machines and equipment, and review production, quality control, and maintenance reports to plan and modify maintenance activities.

How Will You Affect Our Business?

  • Responsible for plant maintenance, including facilities and utilities, to reduce downtime and maintain plant efficiency.
  • Work with the Engineering Manager on design projects and collaborate with vendors.
  • Manage maintenance metrics and all activities for the Planned Maintenance Pillar under the Conagra Performance System.
  • Prepare and implement the maintenance budget while monitoring expenses.
  • Help with planning and cost estimates for annual and longer-term capital budgets.
  • Implement the capital plan, according to regulations, to include all engineering design and project management, working with both internal and external resources.
  • Establish criteria for assessing the quality of work performed by employees and contractors.
  • Oversee maintenance, and repairs, and assess work quality.
  • Inspect conditions of buildings and equipment, recommending improvements.

Do You Have What It Takes?

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related technical field and 5+ years experience in food plant maintenance
  • 7+ years' experience in food plant maintenance in lieu of educational requirements
  • Experienced in using computer software applications such as CAD, Microsoft excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), Word, PowerPoint, MS Project Management.
  • Understanding of PLC and logic controls for high-speed operating equipment.
  • Prior experience using production environment SAP.
  • Experience in project and budget management and facilities administration
  • Experience writing and updating processes along with project scheduling.
  • Comprehensive information on construction processes, trade standards, building codes and regulations.

Compensation:

Pay Range:$79,000-$115,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
