Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance operations at our sunflower seed roasting, seasoning, and packaging facility. This role is crucial in ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of our production equipment and facilities. The Maintenance Manager will lead a skilled maintenance team, implement preventive maintenance programs, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the maintenance team, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Maintenance Strategy: Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for all equipment and machinery in the facility.
- Troubleshooting: Quickly diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions, minimizing downtime and maintaining production schedules.
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective maintenance solutions and timely procurement of necessary parts and supplies.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe work environment for all employees.
- Project Management: Oversee maintenance projects, including equipment upgrades and installations, coordinating with production schedules to minimize disruptions.
- Performance Metrics: Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to maintenance activities, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality assurance, and procurement teams to support overall operational goals and objectives.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs for the maintenance team and facilitate ongoing skills development to enhance team performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a food processing or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance management systems and practices, including preventive maintenance, reliability-centered maintenance, and root cause analysis.
- Experience with roasting, seasoning, and packaging machinery is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
