Job Overview:

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Supervise and lead all maintenance processes and operations and maintain all machinery to ensure it operates at all working standards. 
  • Track expenses and oversee the budget for maintenance.  
  • Create and implement maintenance procedures and conduct regular inspections of facilities to detect and resolve problems. 
  • Plan and manage all repair and installation activities. 
  • Ensure all department workers adhere to the safety policies and procedures and assign repair schedules to evaluate and implement repair cost estimates and processes. 
  • Document and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs. 
  • Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies when necessary. 

 

Skills & Qualifications: 

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, facility management, engineering, manufacturing, or a relevant field  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of building trades, maintenance, health and safety regulations and practices, team leading, and organizational systems 
  • Five to ten or more years of experience in a maintenance or supervisory field 
  • Ability to operate appropriate Windows and Oracle software  
  • Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment 
  • Must comply with legal and corporate responsibilities
