Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead all maintenance processes and operations and maintain all machinery to ensure it operates at all working standards.
- Track expenses and oversee the budget for maintenance.
- Create and implement maintenance procedures and conduct regular inspections of facilities to detect and resolve problems.
- Plan and manage all repair and installation activities.
- Ensure all department workers adhere to the safety policies and procedures and assign repair schedules to evaluate and implement repair cost estimates and processes.
- Document and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
- Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies when necessary.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, facility management, engineering, manufacturing, or a relevant field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of building trades, maintenance, health and safety regulations and practices, team leading, and organizational systems
- Five to ten or more years of experience in a maintenance or supervisory field
- Ability to operate appropriate Windows and Oracle software
- Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment
- Must comply with legal and corporate responsibilities
