Overview
An Omni Maintenance manager is responsible for the direct activities of the maintenance staff: determine if equipment repair or replacement is appropriate, designate work to be done internally or externally by contract labor, order/approve inventory of necessary parts, set work schedule and project completion deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate maintenance activities for all equipment and communicate with management and operations personnel
- Ensure safe work practices and adherence to all safety regulations, policies, and procedures
- Manage maintenance personnel
- Generate requisitions
- Review and evaluate maintenance costs and repairs
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills to successfully interact with employees and management
- Strong computer skills
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydralics, processing equipment and mobile equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Commitment to safety through actions and behaviors, enforce safety procedures and requirements
- Ability to establish priorities and manage multiple tasks at once
- Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner with attention to detail
- Regular and timely attendance

- High school diploma or equivalent
