Maintenance Manager

• Bridgeton, New Jersey
• Day Shift, M-F
• Food & Beverage Manufacturing
• $120,000 – $150,000 + Annual Bonus

The Maintenance Manager will report directly to the Plant Manager, overseeing 4 direct reports and approximately 25 maintenance technicians across production equipment, plant utilities and facility maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the maintenance team across a 3-shift manufacturing operation.
• Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and OEE.
• Oversee maintenance of high-speed bottling, canning, blending and packaging equipment.
• Manage maintenance activities across boilers, ammonia refrigeration, wastewater treatment and plant utilities.
• Troubleshoot and oversee electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and industrial control systems.
• Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts, equipment overhauls and CMMS activities.
• Lead capital projects, equipment upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, FDA, GMP, LOTO and plant safety standards.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of maintenance leadership experience within manufacturing.
• Previous experience managing a maintenance department and technical teams.
• Strong electrical, mechanical, PLC/controls, hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge.
• Experience maintaining high-speed food or beverage production equipment.
• Knowledge of bottling, canning and automated packaging machinery preferred.
• Experience with CMMS systems, preventive maintenance and reliability improvements.
• Knowledge of boilers, ammonia refrigeration and industrial utilities.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, OEE and continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with SQF, GMP and food manufacturing safety standards preferred.
