Maintenance Manager
Direct Hire - Day Shift (M-F)

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager with 5+ years of hands-on experience in injection molding and/or blow molding operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of equipment maintenance, developing and implementing a preventative maintenance program, and ensuring a robust safety program is in place to support reliable production and plant operations.
This is a key leadership role within the manufacturing team, requiring a proactive mindset, technical expertise, and the ability to lead a team of maintenance technicians.
Lead, train, and manage the maintenance team in the upkeep and repair of injection molding and blow molding equipment, auxiliary systems, and facility infrastructure.
Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program that reduces downtime and increases equipment reliability.
Design and maintain a comprehensive safety program aligned with OSHA and company standards, promoting a culture of safety and accountability.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues.
Monitor and maintain spare parts inventory, vendor relationships, and service contracts.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to production efficiency, energy savings, and equipment upgrades.
Collaborate closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to minimize downtime and optimize machine performance.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and documentation using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
5+ years of experience in a maintenance leadership role within a plastics manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on injection molding and blow molding equipment.
Proven experience building and managing preventative maintenance and safety programs.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Familiarity with automation systems and PLC-controlled equipment is preferred.
Demonstrated leadership, team development, and project management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical field (preferred).
Certifications in maintenance management, safety, or reliability engineering (e.g., CMRP, OSHA) are a plus.
Manufacturing floor and office setting.
Requires standing, walking, and exposure to machinery and noise.
