Maintenance Lead

2nd Shift | 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour + Shift Differential

We're recruiting for a hands-on Maintenance Lead to support the 2nd shift maintenance operation at an established industrial manufacturer in Pierceton, IN.

This role is ideal for an experienced Maintenance Technician or Lead who wants to remain technically involved while leading shift priorities, troubleshooting equipment and supporting other technicians.

What You'll Do

• Lead day-to-day maintenance activities across 2nd shift
• Prioritize repairs and assign work based on production needs
• Provide hands-on support during breakdowns and complex troubleshooting
• Support technicians with mechanical and electrical repairs
• Coordinate preventative maintenance and ensure scheduled work is completed
• Troubleshoot recurring equipment problems and support corrective actions
• Work with Production to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability
• Communicate completed work, equipment issues and priorities to Maintenance Management
• Support reliability and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain high standards for maintenance safety and workmanship

What We're Looking For

• Industrial maintenance experience within manufacturing
• Previous Maintenance Lead, Senior Technician or similar leadership experience
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience diagnosing and repairing industrial production equipment
• Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance issues and make independent decisions
• Strong communication and team leadership skills
• Comfortable remaining hands-on while providing direction to technicians
• Allen Bradley PLC, CNC or die casting equipment experience is advantageous

Schedule

• 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Every other weekend rotation
• Overtime opportunities available
• Friday hours may extend during weekend coverage
