Job Description

Summary

Under close supervision, performs a wide variety of unskilled and semi-skilled tasks in connection with the maintenance of the plating facility.

Job Duties

• Works on job duties and assignments as they relate to maintenance, repair, installing, fabricating, adjusting, troubleshooting, and any other maintenance duties as needed.
• May perform start-up and shut down functions on plant equipment and facilities as required.
• Workings safely at all times in compliance with OSHA/EPA regulations 
• Participate in the handling, labeling, containment, and disposal of hazardous waste.
• Performs other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as needed

Educational and Work Experience Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Potential splash exposure near process lines.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in the metal finishing industry is helpful but not required.
• Detail oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Willingness to work around chemicals using appropriate safety equipment.
