Job Overview

Maintenance Technician / Mechanical Helper

Hutto, TX

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance and repair of production equipment and machinery
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks
• Work with hand tools and mechanical equipment safely and efficiently
• Support production operations to minimize downtime
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined and comfortable using tools and equipment
• Dependable with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a manufacturing or production environment
• Prior maintenance, manufacturing, or production experience is a plus
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and work in an industrial setting

Skills

• Proven experience in appliance repair and service technician roles
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals
• Expertise in HVAC/R systems, and electrical troubleshooting
• Familiarity with construction principles related to facility maintenance
• Ability to operate diagnostic tools and repair equipment effectively
• Leadership skills for guiding junior team members or coordinating maintenance tasks
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance operations
