Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Duties: This position is responsible for maintaining all machines throughout the plant. Each technician is assigned to a work area and is responsible for their individual work area only. The work descriptions include Carruthers, DSI, lug wash, blades, wings/CVP, MDM, cone lines, marel sizers, floater, IQF, back dock, kill room/picking, evis, offal, cut-up, floater, battery/pallet jack and boiler room. This position requires the team member to move around their work area to locations that are in need of their assistance. This position must also conduct preventative maintenance and conduct safety checks throughout their area.
Work Environment: This position requires the team member to move to different areas of the plant and deal with different temperatures and environments in accordance to where they are needed.
Safety Equipment: This position requires the use of personal protective equipment including hair net, beard net, smock, boots, rubber gloves and hearing protection.

Duties: This position is responsible for directing the maintenance team members and assisting the maintenance supervisor.
Work Environment: This position requires the team member to move to different areas of the plant and deal with different temperatures and environments in accordance to where they are needed.
Safety Equipment: This position requires the use of personal protective equipment including hair net, beard net, smock, boots, rubber gloves and hearing protection.
Requirements:
Must have 1 year of maintenance experience within the immediate past 2 years.
Prior Employee Waiting Period: If you were previously employed at Tyson, there’s a 365-day waiting period before you can reapply.
Number of Times Worked at Tyson: You can apply if you’ve worked at Tyson no more than three times.
Failed Drug Screen - if you had a failed drug screen, you must wait 6 months before reapplying.
