Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on and experienced maintenance and facilities manager to oversee the maintenance of all major production equipment and building infrastructure. This position is responsible for managing a team of maintenance technicians, coordinating repairs, implementing a preventative maintenance program, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems and facilities upkeep in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee repair and maintenance of forging, spinning, heat treat, and CNC machinery
  • Supervise maintenance technicians and facilities support, providing direction and scheduling priorities
  • Assemble a team of contractors and employees to support maintenance and facilities management processes
  • Track maintenance work orders, departmental budgets, and labor hours
  • Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical issues across departments
  • Develop and manage a preventative maintenance program and ensure accurate documentation of all completed tasks
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, AQMD, and city regulations; manage documentation for inspections and permits
  • Support safety initiatives and technician safety training
  • Collaborate with production and engineering to align maintenance priorities with operational goals
  • Support capital improvement projects, equipment installations, and emergency repairs
  • Maintain building systems including utilities, plumbing, lighting, HVAC, and general infrastructure

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of maintenance and facilities experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of CNC, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Proven experience leading maintenance teams and coordinating vendor services
  • Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, and hazardous materials regulations
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP or CMMS systems (E2 preferred)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification preferred

Job Type & Pay

  • Job Type: Full-Time, In-Person
  • Pay Range: $95,000 – $125,000 per year (commensurate with experience)

Hours & Schedule

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday (8+ hour shift)
  • Expected Hours: 40+ hours per week (overtime as needed)
