Job Title:    Facilities Maintenance Technician 1    Date:    12/1/2026

Job Description:    This position provides support to all departments in maintenance of the facility. 

Responsibilities:

•    Must have general construction knowledge and basic mechanical knowledge. 

•    All employees must follow and adhere to Safety, Food Safety, & GMP guidelines at all times. 

•    Facilities Maintenance position will be responsible for maintaining facilities through preventive maintenance, light repair, and sanitation department support. 

•    Record all information on proper documents and work to electronic work orders.

•    Provide support to other positions as questions and concerns arise.

•    Work closely with other departments in a respectful and professional manner.

•    Communicate with Supervisor if any situations arise that may require additional attention.

•    Keep the buildings, offices, common spaces, and grounds clean and in good working order.

•    Ensure restrooms and breakrooms are in good repair.

•    Operate forklift, scissor lift, and boom lift as necessary to complete work.

Annual Salary Range:    DOE per hour plus shift differential    Reports to:     Maintenance Manager

Employment Requirements:

•    Light maintenance or construction skills

•    Prior sanitation or building and grounds experience

•    Food Processing experience 

•    Basic Computer skills

•    Microsoft Office experience; Outlook, Excel, Word

•    Must respect Safety and GMP guidelines 

•    Good communication skills, bilingual helpful.

•    Must be able to work all  shifts and overtime.

•    Must have the ability to lift up to 50lbs. 

•    Potential candidates must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record

•    Must have reliable transportation

Working Conditions:

While performing duties of this job, the employee works in outside weather conditions, refrigerated areas, or in freezers. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts, high places, wet and/or humid conditions, temperature extremes, fumes or airborne partials, toxic, caustic, or acid chemicals, and risk of electrical shock, high noise levels, and vibration.

May be required to stand and walk for entire shift. Must be able to repeatedly lift 30lbs, and occasionally up to 50 lbs. May be wet and dirty for periods of time.
