Hood Container – STF is based in St. Francisville, Louisiana, just north of Baton Rouge. Primary Focus

Manage and drive the continual improvement of the core requirements of the position relating to:

• Maintenance of the entire facility that maximizes equipment availability, equipment reliability for quality production at optimum cost.
• Development of maintenance processes (including people, methods, materials, machinery, and processes) to maximize facility profitability.
• Engineering of entire facility focusing on continuous improvement and sustainability.
• Compliance with all regulatory requirements for Safety, Environmental, Human Resource and Insurance.

Accountabilities

Direct (accountable for/ authority over):

• Ensuring safety performance of departments and compliance with HCC Health and Safety polices and goals.
• Establishing annual maintenance budget for material, labor, and contractor spending. Responsible for operating within budget targets.
• Responsible for annual outage budget and leading as the event coordinator.
• Communicating results (cost, availability, productivity, and Key Performance Indicators) to management and maintenance labor group.
• Responsible for establishing annual capital expenditures and coordinating with outside engineering services for project management.
• Maintaining effective / qualified workforce to support departmental needs.
• Ensuring areas are maintained to reduce risk in complying with FM Global audits.
• Supporting mill initiatives utilizing the HCC Guiding Principles.

Requirements

BS Degree in Engineering, 10+ years’ experience in Manufacturing
