Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment, including high-speed packaging equipment such as cartoning machines, tube filling machines, liquid filling machines, and shrink sleeve applicating machines.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
- Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills and performance.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve equipment issues promptly.
- Manage maintenance budgets and resources effectively to ensure cost-efficient operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in all maintenance activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and equipment reliability

Requirements
Essential Functions
• Leadership and Team Management:
? Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technicians, fabricators, and maintenance supervisors.
? Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the maintenance department.
• Maintenance Strategy Development:
? Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy that includes preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
? Establish maintenance KPIs and metrics to monitor performance and drive improvements.
• Equipment Reliability:
? Ensure the reliability and availability of all manufacturing equipment, including liquid filling, packaging, and tube filling machinery.
? Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement effective solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Regulatory Compliance:
? Ensure all maintenance activities comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
? Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure that maintenance procedures and documentation meet regulatory requirements.
• Budget Management:
? Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining high standards of equipment performance.
? Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in maintenance operations.
• Project Management:
? Oversee maintenance projects, including equipment upgrades, installations, and facility improvements.
? Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.
? Identify and reduce or eliminate bottlenecks in manufacturing processes.
• Training and Development:
? Identify training needs for maintenance staff and facilitate training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
? Stay current with industry trends and advancements in maintenance technologies and practices.

Required Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent experience.
· Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in maintenance management. Food and Beverage and/or high-speed packaging is a plus.
· Familiarity with liquid filling, packaging, and tube filling processes is highly desirable.
· Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office.
· Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
