Seeking an experienced industrial technician to troubleshoot and repair electronic components and provide operations support. Ideal candidates will have industrial maintenance training including experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, Panelview HMIs, Servo Systems, VFDs and associated software communication and diagnostic software.
What You’ll Be Doing: Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment and integrated systems throughout the company with minimal supervision or direction. Lead and serve as point of contact for projects that require coordination and oversight of both internal and external resources. Also required to install, upgrade, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment as needed.

- Apply troubleshooting techniques and knowledge of production systems to diagnose machine problems, both electrical and mechanical.
- Projects may include equipment installations and upgrades and will require communication, coordination and directing of both internal and external resources. May serve as lead and point of contact for projects as needed.
- Perform or coordinate repairs to equipment per manufacturer and company requirements.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools and test instruments, such as laptops, IR thermal imaging camera, oscilloscopes, ammeters, and digital multi-meters, pipe benders, saws, drills, soldering irons,
- Install, adjust, and calibrate equipment to manufacturer, company and engineer’s drawings and specifications.
- Maintain equipment, practice preventative and corrective maintenance according to manufacturer and company specifications, including the proper lubrication, cleaning, and repair or replacement components.
- Repair, modify and maintain building electrical service and distribution system
- Comply with all quality, ISO and OSHA standards.
- Complete training on new and existing equipment and trains others.
- Use applicable reference material and at the direction of the supervisor may be required to use specialized reference material.
- Use proper lock-out-tag-out procedures and ability to train other Electronics Technicians.
- Rewire/repair of manufacturing equipment (i.e. drives, control panels, and PLC controls)
- Use PLC (AB, SIEMENS) development software for troubleshooting and maintaining machines.
- Utilize outside technical support resources (i.e. AB technical support)
- Make repairs to mechanical equipment
- Specify, Install and troubleshoot new equipment
- Repair, modify and maintain buildings/facilities electrical and mechanical infrastructure
- May order spare and repair parts for equipment and facilities as needed.
- Provide support to maintenance and manufacturing teams.
Schedule: This position is an onsite role; once training is completed, will primarily work to support 1st shift, which is Monday to Thursday 5AM to 3:30PM. May support other shifts as needed for training, projects and business needs.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years’ experience in related industrial maintenance roles that includes familiarity with:
- Electronics and electrical machine control, PLCs
- hydraulics, mechanical, welding/metal fabrication
- manufacturing environment
- maintenance tools and equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair industrial equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs regularly, 25 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally
- Computer skills – able to navigate various software, including manufacturing software and maintenance tracking systems
- US Person (meets ITAR/EAR requirements)
Preferred:
- Two-year technical degree or vocational training in industrial maintenance
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, Panelview HMIs, Servo Systems, VFDs and associated PC software communication and diagnostic software
- Familiarity of NEMA standards and UL Listings practices Experience with welding, robotic welding, or metal forming equipment including bending, cutting or roll forming
