JOB SUMMARY:
Seeking a Maintenance Electrician who is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving electrical power distribution, automation, and control systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of industrial equipment and facility.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent electrical experience required
- Industrial electrical maintenance experience preferred
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated experience working with power distribution systems, controls, and automation
- Knowledge of 120V–480V power distribution, motor control centers (MCCs), and VFD troubleshooting and programming
- Experienced in PLC troubleshooting, HMIs, VFDs, and instrumentation calibration
- Solid understanding of electrical safety and preventative maintenance practices, arc flash requirements, and NEC standards
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and control drawings
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems ranging from 120V to 480V
- Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and industrial instrumentation
- Perform scheduled electrical preventive maintenance (PM) on equipment and systems
- Ensure compliance with NEC requirements, arc flash standards, and all electrical safety regulations
- Support equipment upgrades, automation improvements, and continuous improvement projects
- Diagnose electrical issues in motor control centers (MCCs) and associated equipment
- Calibrate and maintain electrical and process instrumentation
