Job Overview:

As a maintenance electrician, you will be required to conduct electrical maintenance inspections, perform routine electrical maintenance, trouble shoot faults and wiring issues in industrial machinery.

Schedule: 430am - 1pm - Monday to Friday

Compensation Range: $38 - $40 /DOE

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ability to analyze electrical issues and quickly and safely resolve issues

  • Responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery

  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on industrial machinery

  • Resolve equipment jams on production line

  • Complete daily maintenance and repair logs

  • Communication with Production Associates and Management

  • Maintain and secure work tools

  • Clean and maintain work area

  • Follow all safety procedures

  • Provide training as requested

  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Working knowledge and theory of high voltage and low voltage equipment and wiring

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required

  • High school diploma or equivalent or technical school training preferred

  • Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required

  • Regular, consistent attendance of scheduled shifts is required

  • Ability to work with scissor and boom lift at ceiling heights

  • Experience in the laundry industry is desirable but not required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment

  • Work involves frequent lifting of materials up to 50 pounds

  • Machinery and tool operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, and work boots.
