Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team at our facility located in Detroit, MI. The ideal candidate will have experience with PLC troubleshooting, programming, electrical troubleshooting, and wiring.

Responsibilities

• Utilize PLC troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair electrical issues
• Program PLC systems to optimize equipment performance
• Perform electrical troubleshooting to identify and resolve problems
• Complete PLC wiring tasks to ensure proper installation and functionality
• Test motor-controlled devices, switch panels, transformers, generator windings, and other electrical equipment and components.
• Apply electrical theory and related knowledge to test operation of electrical machinery and electrical control equipment and circuitry.
• Work 480 VAC 3 phase motor control systems.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with PLC troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency in PLC programming
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
• Hands-on experience with PLC wiring
• 4 years+ experience as an Electrician in an industrial environment required.
• Electrical experience supporting industrial operations including knowledge and troubleshooting experience to locate and diagnose trouble in electrical systems or equipment.
