A well-established industrial manufacturing facility in the Cedar Park/North Austin area is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to support plant operations and production equipment. This is a hands-on role best suited for someone with strong industrial electrical maintenance experience, including troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance in a fast-paced production environment.
The ideal candidate will have journeyman-level electrical knowledge, experience working with 3-phase power and 480V systems, and the ability to diagnose and repair electrical issues safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, plant equipment, and production machinery
- Assemble, install, test, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, controls, and related equipment
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment, hand tools, and electrical schematics
- Troubleshoot and repair 3-phase power systems, transformers, PLCs, motor controls, and related components
- Connect wiring to circuit breakers, transformers, panels, and other electrical systems
- Inspect electrical systems for hazards, defects, code concerns, and needed repairs
- Perform continuity and safety testing using voltmeters, ohmmeters, oscilloscopes, and multimeters
- Complete preventative and corrective maintenance tasks in a timely and professional manner
- Follow all required safety procedures and comply with OSHA standards
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent journeyman-level experience strongly preferred
- Strong industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Knowledge of 480V systems, 3-phase power, PLC troubleshooting, and motor control circuits
- Minimum 2+ years of related electrical maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to work safely, communicate clearly, and support production needs
- Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required
